Asian Mainstream Productions in collaboration with Stefanie Hoffman (co-producer)  have been working on a documentary exploring the numerous challenges that so many people experience when accessing mental healthcare. As we go into post- production, please join us for a “movie-themed” happy hour fundraiser at Slate Bar (21 and over) Friday, August 16th for our film “Borderline: Mental Healthcare”

We’ll be showing a film trailer and host a raffle with some weekend getaways, art, movie tickets and other cool prizes. A photography booth will be available to snap some movie-themed glam shots. All donations are tax deductible plus donors will receive a complimentary gift bag. AND Fringe DJs BlondieK and SubOctave will be playing your favorite tunes if you feel like dancing!

1 in 5 people experience some kind of mental health condition. And chances are you know someone who has struggled with depression, anxiety or even disorders like bipolar or schizophrenia. And even if they wanted to get help, chances are there were countless obstacles to treatment.

Our film “Borderline” examines how the issue of stigma has impacted access to mental healthcare and played a part in a greater mental health crisis.

All donations are tax deductible as we are fiscally sponsored by Independent Arts & Media. So come out for a fun-filled evening and we hope to see you there!

We also have an on-line link to donate if you can’t make it.  Please see below:
